Who we are

A financing partner for transactions that do not fit a product sheet

Coral Capital Panama Inc. is an international financial institution headquartered in Panama City. Since commencing operations in 2004 we have concentrated on a single discipline: structuring commercial finance and direct capital for borrowers whose requirements cross borders, currencies and asset classes.

We work with operating businesses, investors and project sponsors who need a lender that will read the transaction before it reads the template. Facilities are arranged on a bespoke basis, from short-term working capital through to long-term structured lending and private capital placements of up to US$200 million.

  • Direct capital and arranged facilities under one mandate
  • Short- and long-term structures, single currency or multi-currency
  • Sector specialists who understand the assets behind the balance sheet
  • A documented process with clear timelines from first call to disbursement

What we finance

Commercial financing and direct capital solutions

Six core products, arranged individually or combined into a single facility structure that matches the cash-flow profile of the underlying business.

01

Commercial Lending

Direct short- and long-term lending to established operating companies, sized to the cash flow that will repay it and secured against assets that genuinely support the exposure.

03

Loan Syndication

Arranging and participating in syndicated facilities where a requirement exceeds a single lender's appetite, with Coral Capital taking the arranging role and a position of its own.

Direct capital placement for sponsors and companies where debt alone will not carry the transaction, including mezzanine structures and structured instruments.

Direct capital and structured instruments

05

Project & Asset-Backed Finance

Finance for capital projects and asset acquisitions, structured against the asset itself, its offtake contracts and the receivables it will generate.

Secured against assets, offtake or receivables

06

Working Capital & Bridge Facilities

Short-tenor liquidity for businesses managing a timing gap: a delayed receipt, a seasonal build, a contract mobilisation, or a refinancing in progress.

All financing services

US$200 million

The upper limit of a single Coral Capital facility

Transactions below that ceiling are structured on the same principle: capital sized to the cash flow, security matched to the asset, and terms a borrower can service through a full cycle. Larger requirements can be arranged through syndication with participating institutions.

Sectors we serve

Why Coral Capital

Four things that change how a transaction runs

Cross-border by default

Multi-jurisdiction structures, correspondent relationships and settlement in major currencies are routine work here, not an exception that slows a file down.

Structure before product

We begin with the cash-flow profile and the security available, then build the facility around it. Tenor, amortisation and covenants follow the transaction.

Disciplined credit process

A defined path from initial review through due diligence to approval, with KYC and AML verification applied consistently on every mandate.

Relationship, not a single ticket

Most clients return for a second facility. We underwrite with that in mind, sizing the first transaction so the balance sheet can carry the next one.

The process

From first conversation to disbursement

Every mandate follows the same sequence, so you always know what happens next and what is required of you.

  1. 01

    Initial inquiry

Amount, purpose, tenor, sector and security. We confirm the fit within days.

  2. 02

    Preliminary review

Corporate documents, financials and KYC verification on the borrower.

  3. 03

    Structuring and diligence

Cash-flow modelling, security testing and an indicative structure.

  4. 04

    Credit approval

Committee decision, confirmed in writing with conditions precedent.

  5. 05

    Documentation and drawdown

Agreements executed, conditions satisfied, funds disbursed.

The full financing process

Access to capital is rarely the hard part. Access to capital on terms a business can actually carry — that is the work.
